PLACES 2024 release
Data updated 11 Sep 2025 on data.cdc.gov. 40 measures based on BRFSS 2021 and 2022; estimates for 3,144 counties, 29,923 places and 32,520 ZIP Code Tabulation Areas.
Notes from CDC's release notes
- First release built on 2020 Census geographies, including Connecticut planning regions as county equivalents.
- Seven health-related social needs measures were added, available for 39 states and the District of Columbia that ran the BRFSS optional module.
- Chronic kidney disease and core preventive services for older adults were discontinued; cervical cancer screening could not be estimated because the BRFSS question changed.
