Compare two or three places
Each measure shows the estimate of each place with its 95% confidence interval on one scale.
The figures are model-based estimates for the adults of an area. They say nothing about one person.
We do not produce estimates for individuals; only aggregated results for counties, places, census tracts, or ZCTAs.
First, it is not adequate to simply compare point estimates. The confidence intervals should also be considered, and some are very broad.

The tool holds three places. The address of the page holds the places, so you can send it as a link.
No place is in the comparison. Type a ZIP Code, a city, a county or a state in the field. Add a second place to see the two side by side.
Examples: ZIP Code 10027 and ZIP Code 10025. Harris County, Los Angeles County and Texas.

"Higher" or "lower": the whole 95% confidence interval of the place is above or below the whole interval of place A. "Similar": the two intervals overlap. A state figure is a mean that this site computes (site aggregate). It has no interval, so the words for a state are "above", "below" and "in line". Two state figures have no interval, so the tool gives no word for them. The tool gives no word when two places use different PLACES releases for a measure. The releases use different BRFSS years. The tool shows crude prevalence.
The places are in the order in which you add them. The tool gives no rank and no total.
